Version: 3.0.2 (using KDE 3.2 BRANCH >= 20040204, compiled sources) Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.3 2.96-113) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-28.7smp On initial startup in IDEA mode there are duplicate tabs/buttons in at the bottom of the main viewing area. If I go to Setting->Configure Kdevelop... and change the User Interface to something else then there are only one set of tabs/buttons. If I switch back to IDEA mode there are only one set of tabs/buttons then also. I'll attach a snapshot of it.

I just built KDE 3.2.3 from source and built KDevelop 3.0.4 from source as well. When I start KDevelop initially I get multiple tabs at the bottom of the window when IDEAl mode is used. I've attached a screen snapshot of what I see. If I switch to another user interface mode I get the correct number of tabs. If I switch back to IDEAl mode the correct number of tabs are show
I some how attached a couple of the snapshots to but #78118 I don't know if it's possible to get them reattached to this bug.
KDE 3.2.3 from source and built KDevelop 3.0.4 and the same problem here. But changing the view mode to something else than IDEAl and come back to it fixed the dupes. But something was still anormal. The content of the tabs (GBD and Disassemble) are also weird, the "top bar" to move the opened tab is in the middle of the tab, instead of being at the top. The "breakpoints" and "problems" tabs have 2 "move" bars like of there was another tab in the back, but there is no mean to see it. I deleted the whole config and restarted kdevelop to confirm it wasnt a misconfiguration from me.
I'm using version 3.1.1 since a while and the bug never re-appeared.
