Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux I have an Athlon XP 2600 w/ 512 MB of RAM. Even though, khelpcenter takes several seconds to start. I can see one probable reason of why it takes soooo long. When I click on 'Quanta Handbook', for example, It fires the help with all the help pages in existence. Sure, a good feature, but I think it would start much faster and would feel better for some users if it fired fast with only the Application help. Therefore I suggest thse features with their respective configuration options: 1) Option for the user to select whether he wants full help or just the Application help to be fired when help is invoked; I would prefer to have just the app help as the default, for faster startup and less memory consumption; 2) Option to have the help displayed as: a)a single help window with a.I)split views, like konqueror file management a.II)help tabs per application (quanta in one tab, kbattleship in other tab) b)multiple help windows each help may have multiple views.
