Description James Tappin 2004-03-02 13:03:30 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

When starting konsole by control-T from a konqueror window, the following error is produced:

Warning: no access to tty (Inappropriate ioctl for device).
Thus no job control in this shell.

This also occurs with the "show terminal emulator" option in konqueror. It does not occur when starting konsole from kicker, nor does it occur when a second shell is opened in a konsole application, even if it did occur with the first.

Fixed for KDE 3.2.1
