Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.5) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux I've been getting a string of junk mail with no subject. I decided to use not having a subject (ie the Subject: field is a null string) as a filtering criterion, and was informed that I couldn't do that. I think maybe nobody ever thought it might be useful. There may be other ways to arrive at the same goal, and this report is no big whoop. Still, I thought it worth mentioning how this user thought to approach the problem, and how KMail failed to deliver the intuitive behavior.
I've also been getting these messages (and I've tried to do the same at no avail). Additionally, I've been getting emails with nothing in the body (Obviously, a scan for valid email addys). If there could be a way to filter emails based on an empty subject line and/or body, that would be an excellent tool to have.
You can create a filter that does this as follows: [Subject] [matches regular expression] [^$]
I think comment #2 offers a decent solution for that.
