Description Skander Morgenthaler 2004-02-27 01:51:02 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Juk crashes on startup. Since the application doesn't really start, it's hard (for me) to tell what exactly causes the crash, but I can reproduce it: it always habppens by now. Juk was running fine before. No helpful error messages, a normal trace (without debugging symbols) is all I can offer right now (installed rpms for suse 9.0).

Comment 1 Scott Wheeler 2004-02-27 02:04:34 UTC
Hmm, looks like a crash while trying to read the cached playlists. JuK tries to prevent this, but you might try attaching a copy of ~/.kde/share/apps/juk/playlists to see if I can reproduce it. (Also moving away that file should make things work locally.)
Comment 2 Skander Morgenthaler 2004-02-27 02:32:14 UTC
Yes, moving away that file works just fine. Playlist is mailed directy to you.
Comment 3 Scott Wheeler 2004-04-12 16:44:14 UTC
Fixed in CVS.

problem fixed when you erase the playlist files (I erase the cache file too but I don't think it's interresting)
