Description Rudolph Pienaar 2004-02-26 18:15:05 UTC
Version: 3.0.1 (using KDE KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 (Mandrake Linux 9.2 3.3.1-2mdk) Stock Mandrake bundled compiler
OS: Linux

With the UI in Childframe mode, kdevelop-3.0.1 often crashes on each startup (about 8/10 times). The "fix" is to delete the <projName>/<projName>.kdevelop.pcs file before startup. It has never crashed with this *kdevelop.pcs deleted.

This behaviour is repeatable across different machines (my laptop / desktop - both stock mdk-9.2, with stock bundled KDE). This does not occur with the default UI mode.

Kdevelop-3.0.1 was built from source (with --prefix=/usr). This crash behaviour was also present in kdevelop-3.0.0. I seem to remember it acting the same way with the release candidates / betas, but cannot verify now.

Cheers

Mandrake and the pcs file. This has got to be a dupe.
