Version: 1.2 (using KDE KDE 3.1.5) Installed from: RedHat RPMs OS: Linux Would like to have positional control placement of association labels. This is an issue with the state control diagram if there are dual unidirectional associations between two states. The labels sit on top of each other. A not-so-pretty work-around is to segment one or both association lines with one or two points to separate them. Not having access to Rose anymore, I find this tool exceptionally well done. Thank you. -Jim
I noticed the same thing initially but after I saved and reopened the same model I can move the associated labels. So only newly created labels can't be moved until you have reloaded the model.
I'm not sure why manual label placement has stopped working on new associations (but load loaded ones) but it annoys me too. Something to investigate.

I've already corrected that bug (without reporting it to bugs.kde.org - sorry - no time) and this has successfully been commited to the current CVS tree 2 days ago. This bug should be marked as FIXED.

Oops, marking this as fixed may have been a little premature. Piotr, could you verify that it really works? If not, could you please send a patch that specifically fixes this problem? (I have reviewed your files and have been somewhat conservative with committing your changes since the source base that you were using was slightly outdated.) Thanks.
It's not fixed here. Reopened.
Ah, my fault. I missed out a few of Piotr's modifications. Fixed now. Thanks again Piotr.
Wow, this is a die-hard. Reopening pro forma - fix is imminent.
