Description Axel Boldt 2004-02-24 17:30:21 UTC
Version: 1.2.3 (using KDE KDE 3.1.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Using konsole with font setting "Normal" (which presumably uses the font that comes with konsole?) some letters are too wide and don't display properly. I have noticed this for the letters D, m and @. They will overlap with the next letter, and sometimes the overlap will be blanked. Both these effects can be seen on the following screenshot:

Note how the last vertical line of the upper m is not visible, but in the output of echo, it is visible. (After selecting all text, the missing line becomes visible again.) Note also how the last line of the first m and the first line of the second m overlap.

A lot has changed since 3.1.x. Please try a newer version (preferable 3.4.x).
