Description peppelorum 2004-02-22 21:14:35 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

When I open Kate non of the lists (files, projects, selector) on the left is visible, when choosing one the list floats over the text, until you click the little square. When you then choose "Restore window configuration" and close Kate, the list isn't there the next time you open it.

Same behavior in 3.2.1
Comment 2 Anders Lund 2004-03-21 10:20:52 UTC
When Kate is uing the IDEAI mode and a tool view is set to overlap, that view will be collapsed when a document view gets the focus. If you want a tool view to be visible when Kate is started, you must make it sticky (press the ``little square´´).

I clicked the little square, but the next I start Kate the tool view is gone.
Comment 4 Anders Lund 2004-03-21 10:31:11 UTC
now fixed for upcoming versions, including KDE 3.2.2
