Description Benji Weber 2004-02-17 21:00:45 UTC
Version: 0.8 (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc 3.3
OS: Linux

if a contact has a nick with for example a $ in it and you open a chat window to them you just get:

An internal Kopete error occurred while parsing a message:
XML document could not be parsed!

exactly the same thing happens if a yahoo contact is using certain colours for their text. Viewing the history allows you to read the messages, but they have something like "[34m" in front of the message.

I'm told one colour which causes problems is : 000,128,000

also if the yahoo contact just has the text in bold and in fact most formatting gives same problem
