Version: 3.0.0 (using KDE KDE 3.2.0) Installed from: FreeBSD Ports Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20020320 [FreeBSD] OS: FreeBSD When using the "new project" menu option to generate a new C/C++ "Hello World" application, I discovered that the configure script errors out on ltconfig. Apparently, the wizard did not copy ltcf-c.sh into the project directory, preventing ltconfig from completing. I manually copied this file from another project, and the configuration script then works.
Could you retest using the latest CVS stable (KDE_3_2_BRANCH) or CVS unstable (HEAD)? We did a commit that may have fixed, but I do not have FreeBSD to test.
Are you talking about 3.0.1 stable, or the newer 3.1.0 (actually 3.0.9 when I d/l'ed it) build? I tried the 3.0.1-STABLE, but I can't get it to build on my system. I've got an email into the port maintainer, so I'll keep trying.
I have this same problem, kde 3.2.1 built from ports on 5.2-current
Please retest Otherwise we'll close this 8 month old bug.
As i'm new appwizard maintainer: Does this still apply?
No - newer versions don't seem to have the same problem. I can now use the appwizard normally. thanks for getting back to us about this bug. :)
reopen to close as fixed
Amilcar clearly stated, there was a "commit that might have fixed" - so closing as fixed for the stats.
