Description Sonic 2004-02-11 12:46:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

I changed the user agent string to MSIE 6.0 using the extras menu. I intended to change it for one site only, but for some reaon, konqueror uses MSIE 6.0 as its default user agent string now (although all the config dialogs still contain the correct information).
No matter what I do, Konqueror identifies itself as MSIE 6.0 on all sites, unless I specifically assign a different user agent for that site. Clicking "Revert to defualt" in the extras menu reverts to MSIE 6.0, changing the default in Konqueror's Settings doesn't have any effect.

I can't really describe how to reproduce this bug, because I just recently discovered that Konq uses the wrong user agent, but I guess it has to do with the fact that I changed the user agent (for localhost) using the extras menu.
