Description Alexander Patrakov 2004-02-10 11:07:12 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from:    Compiled From Sources
Compiler:          gcc 3.3.2
OS:          Linux

To reproduce:

Start konqueror. You will see the "Conquer your Desktop!" start page.
Select "File->Print" from the menu.
Press the "Print" button. The "Printing status - Konqueror" window appears. It contains the text:
"Printing document: about:konqueror. Generating print data: page 1". I waited several minutes and this window didn't go away and the printer printed nothing. Finally, Konqueror chewed up all memory (512M) and crashed.

Other HTML documents don't print either.

If that matters, I use CUPS. Printing from kwrite works.

Konqueror 3.4.2 hangs also while printing a pdf-file.
Example:
load the file
www.opensolaris.org/os/community/os_user_groups/bjosug/solarisnetworking-erik_nordmark.pdf
give Ctrl+P to print and the nothings happens and programme does not react
to anything. It must be then kill.
