Description Jan Trmal 2004-02-08 16:39:01 UTC
Version: 3.0.0 (using KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: Gentoo
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r3, propolice)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.24

When I try to change default shortcut assigment, some shortcuts aren't saved, so on next start it seems to be assigned one key to two action. Well, it can be seen in Setting->Configure ShortCuts dialog. The IDE either doesns't react to such key or select the action which as assigned such key as default.

Well, it seems, I needn't even quit KDevelop and start again, sometimes the keys revert to the default ones "automaticaly" after some time. But this is totaly random, the bug above can be reproduced anytime.

Such strange keys are for example Reload (F5), Show Folding Markers (F9), Show Line Numbers (F11), Show Icon Border (F6)

All of the keys mentioned in comment #1 are handled by katepart. I _think_ this is a bug of kate's that has been fixed in KDE-3.2. I have no problems reassigning F11 here and have it stick, for instance.

OK, finaly emerged KDE 3.2 and key assignment works fine. At least, it seams to. :)
