Description Marcin Kasperski 2004-02-05 15:22:30 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

My dream:

1) I define bookmark, say - called - MyAppDev pointing to directory - say - /home/marcink/devel/myapp/src

2) [%TODO%] I click some config option

3) When I select the bookmark (both cases - from Bookmarks menu and from Session/New from Bookmark menu) the tab is named MyAppDev

One of the tips of the day shows how to change PS1 so I get tab named 'src' but I'd prefer the bookmark name...

With the current KDE 4 defaults, the name of the tab would be "myapp/src : [name of current activity]", which is more useful than just 'src'.

I think the automatic tab naming facility in KDE 4 should be sufficient, it certainly solves the problem outlined in the report.
