Description M. Philippens 2004-01-31 12:24:42 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: GCC 3.3.1 SuSE 9.0
OS: Linux

Open a konqueror file-manager, go to a directory where you wanna find something, open the Find dialog by clicking Tools/Find File, the Find File dialog appears and the Tools/Find File menu entry is enabled. Now open a new tab and wo to a second directory where you wanna find something. Now try to enable the Find/File dialog by clicking Tools/Find File, you'll that the menu item is already enabled. To get a Find File dialog in the second tab, you'll first have to click on the Tools/Find File menu-entry to deactivate it and then click again to re-enable it.

Confirmed for KDE 3.3.2
Comment 2 Jonathan Thomas 2008-09-29 01:49:37 UTC
Doesn't seem to affect KDE 4.1.2.
Comment 3 Jonathan Thomas 2008-12-08 22:55:14 UTC
Non-applicable to the way things work with Konqueror and KFind in KDE4.
