Description Dik Takken 2004-01-23 19:12:24 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
OS: Linux

Just try selecting parts of a single line on this site:

http://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/hurd-and-linux.he.html

Sometimes the starting point of the selection is fixed, other parts can't be selected at all.

I can confirm this. It seems that you can't select any RTL text to the right of any LTR text in the same line. In lines fully RTL, there's no problem.

I wouldn't be surprised if this happend as well with RTL inside LTR text.

No improvements in KDE 3.3 Beta 1.
Comment 3 Diego Iastrubni 2005-12-05 22:26:31 UTC
3.4 and 3.5 have the same problem, just reconfirming.
