Version: 3.2.0 (using KDE KDE 3.2.0) Installed from: Gentoo Packages 1) The "Tools | Archive Web Page" menu entry should be moved to "Location | Archive Web Page". Archiving is some sort of saving web pages and should therefore be located next to "Location | Save As". 2) "Archive Web Page" should use the same path as the "Save As" feature (both operation should use a common variable to store the recently used path). Currently, "Archive Web Page" does not store any paths, it always defaults to the home directory. 3) There should be the option to save web pages in a directory instead of a war archive (the Mozilla way). While war archives are perfect for KDE, the Mozilla way is more portable (think of providing a saved web page on a Samba share to windows users).
Clarification: The "Tools | Archive Web Page" menu entry should be moved to "Location | Archive As". The location menu entry would look like this: Location +- ... +- Save As... +- Archive As... +- ...
Maybe "Save As" could use internally the "Archive Web Page" functionality to save a web page with all embeded elements (pictures,..) in a folder structure (the Mozilla way). Thus we wouldn't need an additional option for the "Archive Web Page" operation.
If you should change the archive functionality, please get rid of any user confirmation. Currently there are *two* clicks required to acknowledge the successful saving of a web page. Remember, that "Save As" just works, does what it is supposed to do, without any extra user confirmation.
Sorry, I have to close this as it's impossible to manage more than one wish per bug report. Please submit exactly *one* wish or bug per bug report.

At least we can vote for this bug: "Archive web page should be part of the save dialog" http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31588
