Hi,
    I've upgraded my SUSE 8.2 installation to KDE 3.2 RC1 and now when print from within an application it hangs completley and has to be killed.

The print dialog appears, I select "print" and it stops responding.

It also hangs if I try to print to file.

I did not have this problem with KDE 3.1.4, KDE 3.2 beta 1 or beta 2 - so on the same machine it is "new".

I downloaded the SUSE RPMs from ftp.kde.org

Strangely if I launch kprinter from a consol (kprinter sean_test.txt) it prints fine in text mode.

I am not convinced KDE is entirely at fault, however I can't explain why all the other KDE versions have worked fine.

It happens with all the KDE apps I have tried - KMail, Konq, Kwrite etc.

Perhaps this should be "critical" or "crash" ?

we somehow believe it's qt. even though KDE 3.1.4 prints fine with qt 3.3
