Description Aric Wilisch 2004-01-18 20:50:58 UTC
Version: 0.7.3 (using KDE KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

When i configured kopete it sucked down all of my contacts for ICQ, but it set all of the nicknames to their icq number. I had to go into each individual contact, look at what their nickname was set to, then go back and rename the contact to their nickname. it would be handy to be able to have a global setting under the icq configuration to say 'set contact name to nickname'. I use Trillian on Windows for messaging and I can right click on each contact and toggle it between icq number and nickname views. It would be much more handy though to have it as a global configuration setting for all icq contacts.

This verson of Kopete came installed with Suse 9.0 Professional.
