Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.4) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Well or at least a keybindings settings dialog. Examples ( assuming we edit a class diagram ): i := insert ic := create a new class - showing a enter class name dialog ii := create a new interface .. In the current user interface i have to: take the mouse click on "Class" or "Interface" click on free space leave the mouse type the name and press enter. idc := creates a new class derived from the current class .. im := create a new method in the current interface or class selected.. hjkl := heuristic movement keys to move the focus around in the diagram. keys that move between base class and sub class might be useful too.
Original title was "wish: vim keybindings to create class diagrams, methods .. fastly" However Umbrello (and UML) are very graphical, it's hard to dictate where on a digram a class should go or add an association with keyboard actions.
The port to KDE Version 4 introduces a key binding dialog that implements this feature request.
