Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.4) The scenerio... Adobe reader is first in the embedded list KGhostView is second. Works as expected. I remove adobe reader but all the settings remain. Moronically Konquorer still tries to open, fails, and stops. Yet if it tried the second option KGhostView it would still *work*. Is not the more intelligent approach - use back up, inform user of problem, continue with working app? Or appear like a broken (for this task it is), stop, and wait for the user to fix problem? My goal was to view the pdf not fix a cranky browser. Geek response - a simple fix. Yet that is if, and only if, you know what you are doing.
