Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.4) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Compiler: precompiled Debian Package OS: Linux KOrganizer is unable to display correctly the Hebrew entries in my datebook downloaded from Palm Pilot, displaying instead accented characters etc. Changing the font to Hebrew fonts does not work - what I expect is needed is a setting for changing the font encoding: exporting as a vcalendar, opening in Kate and setting the encoding to cp1255 or iso 8859-8 displays the entries correctly.
Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created korganizer-devel mailing list.
I have also gotten Gibberish characters from Hebrew text imported into Kontact. You can use http://gibberish.co.il to translate the gibberish into UTF-8 Hebrew.
Changing summary as the problem is not specific to Palm Pilot devices.
