Description meldroc 2004-01-03 22:20:37 UTC
Version: 3.1.4 (using KDE KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.3
OS: Linux

Since I've upgraded to Linux kernel 2.6, I've been getting frequent Konqueror segfaults when I click on a link, submit a form or click Back.

How to reproduce: Run the Debian KDE 3.1.4 packages on Debian Unstable, and surf web with Konqueror. It will crash on you eventually.

Works for me. No crashes. Using debian unstable and kernel is 2.6.0-mm1. I've been using 2.5.x over six months.

You should at least post the backtraces.
Comment 3 Jo Øiongen 2004-01-05 10:38:04 UTC
Can not confirm this bug. Been running kernel 2.5.x since May towards kernel 2.6.0. Never had problems like this.

Cheers Jo

if you've got problems with debian testing's kernel you better tell bugs.debian.org
Comment 5 meldroc 2004-01-24 02:53:10 UTC
Go ahead and merge this one with bug #73333. I reported that one to the Debian KDE maintainers, and it's the same crash I reported here, only 73333 has a decent backtrace.
