Does edit join lines really belong on the Tools menu?
Should it exist just as a keyboard accel and not have a menu item?

this is a wish ;)
I like it to be in the menu, fits well to the wrap document action

Do you really think someone is going to use a mouse and chose Join Lines? I'm in simply favor of all reasonable pruning of menus.

Same probably holds true for indent/unindent.

perhaps you won't use it, but for newbies it is very convenient to get some overview about the stuff, therefor, will stay (nobody will dig through help or key bindings if he just want's to use un/indent and is new to kwrite/kate/...)
