Version: 2.3.3 (using KDE KDE 3.1.94) Installed from: Slackware Packages OS: Linux running noatun, you can enable the 'equalizer'. in former versions, noatun did remember the state of the equalizer when the program was closed and re-opened: now, noatun starts with a disabled equalizer, although the noatunrc-configfile says: === [Equalizer] enabled=true ===
Created attachment 3895 [details] Save last eq setting and honour that "enabled" checkbox The last used eq setting is saved and loaded on startup + the enabled checkbox is taken into account as well. This does not (yet) select the last used selection in the EqualizerView so on next start Noatun still defaults to the "Custom" entry. I'll tackle that after 3.2 I guess, at least it's usable now.
Subject: Re: equalizer disabled although configfileoption is "true" and it's activated i'm not sure i get you right: there is no way to safe the last eq setting manually! up to kde 3.1.4 noatun really did load the last setting, as described by you, although it did not select the "name of the preset", but that was no problem for me. in this version (2.2.3) of noatun, the "Enabled" checkbox is disabled on every startup although it was still checked when shutting down noatun: i have to rightklick the trayicon, choose "equalizer", then click "Enable" and last but not least i have to choose my favorite preset. so noatun does not remember my overall eq preferences properly anymore. due to another problem, i deleted my "~/.kde" -directory and all the files in it, so my configuration is quite new and not mixed with older versions of KDE-packages and programs
And you got me wrong, this patch saves the equalizer band values and preamp value on exit AND it saves the state of the enabled checkbox. If you restart noatun it consequently loads them as well so you have your last equalizer settings back.
Subject: Re: equalizer disabled although configfileoption is "true" and it's activated oh, i see, i'm sorry. thank you so much! greetings from sweden
