Description Charlie 2003-12-30 19:35:35 UTC
Version: 0.7.2 (using KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i586) release 2.4.20-4GB

Knode version 0.7.2
KDE version 3.1.1
SUSE Personnal 8.2
AMD K2 350MHZ / 158MB RAM

I am unable to block a sender using the instructions in Procedure 2.1 under The Advanced KNote Features. EG, I set up a filter to remove all posts from Bert:
Name: Bert
Show In Menu: Yes
Apply on: Whole Threads
Subject: (left blank)
From: Does NOT contain Bert

When applied the filter appears to scan through the posts but all Bert's posts remain. I have tried creating a filter with the whole From header, thus:
"Bert" <bertsmith@pigbond.com> , the result is the same - Bert's post remain. I have tried Procedure 2.1 a number of times with different senders but to no avail.
Either:
1) Something is missing from the instructions.
2) I have missed something.
3) The filter is not working correctly in my setup.

I followed exactly your instructions to setup the filter and it works here.

Anyone else able to confirm this bug?
