Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.94) Installed from: RedHat RPMs OS: Linux This is similar to bug 59113 i guess, but this is a later version of KDE. 3.1.4 didn't exhibit this problem. Again, like 59113, it is not easily explained. When I (sometimes) click on a folder in the tree in Konquerer and move the mouse just after clicking it (a split second after, but I have released the mouse button) a drag'n drop operation is initiated on the folder I've clicked. It is most likely to occur on a fresh Konquerer instance, when using an existing instance the problem usually goes away after some time (like, Konquerer builds up a cache of the filesystem which makes it response more quickly). I'm running on an +2GHz machine, haven't tried on a slower one, but I would expect the problem to be more evident there.
I've experienced this bug in 3.1.3, 3.1.4 and now 3.1.94. I've tried all the possible fixes from the previous bug report (59113) to no avail.
Same issue for me, in KDE 3.1.3, 3.1.4, 3.1.5
This occurs more in slower systems. I have a K6-2 @550, and this happens all the time. And occurs more when you try to click in several folders in the tree, not clicking in the main window. Another thing is, when you change your current folder by clicking in the tree, any folder or file that exist in that folder(the first file) does not have to be select by default? Like windows explorer?
Can anyone reproduce this in KDE 3.5?
Cannot reproduce in KDE 3.5.4.
Cannot reproduce on an old PII box with KDE 3.5.2.
