Description kosh 2003-12-21 22:05:32 UTC
Version:           2.3.3 (using KDE 3.1.93 (CVS >= 20031028),  (testing/unstable))
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.2 (Debian)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.23-xfs

I have the playlist for noatun (split playlist) set to display on all desktops like many other kde applications however it does not remember those settings. So everytime that I login I have to find which desktop it is on and set it to display on all of them again. It seems to be the only kde app I have run into so far with this behavior. I have a xinerama desktop setup (multiple monitors) so others just may not have ever done this.

Thanks
Happy Holidays

I'm not sure if Noatun or the window-manager is the one to save this setting.
Btw, my kmail-mainwindow also does not remember that setting, maybe it's not even meant to be saved?

Actually with kde 3.3 it works fine now. You can right click and do configure window behavior, go down to window specific settings and add a new entry. It will remember where it goes, on what desktop etc.

Ok, that makes sense to me because applications themselves usually do not save anything but window-size/-position. Settings like minimized/shaded/always-on-top are usually only saved by kwin.
As kwin in KDE 3.3 supports setting all this stuff easily I'm marking this one as invalid now, I don't think it's a task noatun should handle.
