Version: CVS (using KDE Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources If I save a file the tab switches from showing the root file name to showing the full path of the file name. We've also lost the indicator on the tab that show that the file has been modified.
Same problem when compiling and a compile error is found in a file. Annoying 'cause only about three file tabs fit on screen when full path is shown.

I compiled the snapshot 2003-12-19. Yes, the indicator that shows file modification is back. But now whenever I change only a single character in the file, immediately the file name in the editor tab expands to full path, because of which the tab header size increases to 1/3 of screen width in my project.
You need to update your kdelibs too (update and compile only kdelibs/kmdi if you don't want to build all kdelibs).
