Version: 2.0 (using KDE 3.1.4) Installed from: (testing/unstable) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Debian) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-1-k7 I've checked in an entire directory, reporting in the log message the list of changed files. That way the log message itself is huge. When I attempt to see the log in Cervisia, it hangs down, probably because it tries to show the entire message as a yellow tooltip. An obvious solution could be truncate the message in repository, before showing it (at least as a tooltip)
Thanks for your report. Unfortunately I can't reproduce this. Could you please add the number of lines the log message had. I tried it with 1000 lines and it worked okay. Thanks in advance! Christian
I've tried, just to test puorpose, a 10k long comment. Actually, with a more powerful machine it doesn't crashes but yet shows badly the yellow tooltip (just first and last part, with a hole in the middle). IMHO even if it worked all, long messages should truncated, at least in tooltip visualization.
You're right, the tooltip must be truncated. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 55871 ***
