Description henrik 2003-12-17 23:30:40 UTC
Version: 3.0.0 b2 (using KDE KDE 3.1.94)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I'm starting a project (C++) that after careful consideration fits perfectly to be created as an MDI application, but the MDI template seems to be removed from KDevelop 3.0.

Importing a MDI project file from KDevelop 2.1 doesn't work, it doesn't build.

Can we have the C++ MDI template back? For some applications it makes perfect sense to use MDI.

won't happen as part of core kdevelop. We want to reduce the number of templates, but allow downloading new ones via GHNS in KDevelop4. In fact you can already create projects from the templates that the kapptemplate application from kdesdk provides.
