Version: 3.1.3 (using KDE 3.1.4) Installed from: (testing/unstable) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Debian) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-5-k7 Basically I think it makes sense to show the name of the filename when you drag it, not just its icon. The reason is, imagine you are moving a bunch of pdf's into separate categories (directories) like "adventure" , "science fiction", "programming", etc, and you start moving the icon, but when you go put it over the folder, you forgotten how it was called. With just an icon, you know it's a pdf, but which one? Now you'll answer me: "You can see the name of it from the source, because the original icon being dragged stays selected behind". Yeah, but what if the directory is, suppose, in the beginning of the window you're in, and you've got to scroll a bit up to get there? Then the selected icon gets hidden, way down there, out of sight. Hope you think about it.
And what if you have a lot of files?
