Description Sylvain Joyeux 2003-12-13 20:31:15 UTC
Version: unknown (using KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: (testing/unstable)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Debian)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.23-ck1

When an KDMI/IDEAL tab is open but not docked (for instance because of a compilation going), it is closed when you change the current desktop. It is not when you only change the active window.
Comment 1 Jens Dagerbo 2004-04-17 05:02:13 UTC
Well, yes.. this happens. But I sure hope it won't be fixed, because that'll surely mess something else up.

Reassigning to kdelibs/kmdi

I couldn't reproduce this with KDE from CVS compiled 2041229. It's possible that the new KWin version that was introduced in KDE 3.2 has fixed this. Please reopen if you can reproduce with a later version of KDE. Thanks.
Comment 4 Matt Rogers 2004-12-30 07:40:22 UTC
I couldn't reproduce this with an undocked tab, but i could with a docked tab, so i will assume this is what you were talking about and reopen the bug.

Comment 6 Matt Rogers 2008-02-10 17:29:19 UTC
kmdi has been removed in KDE 4 and no more fixes will be made for KDE 3.5.x. The
apps that were using kmdi in the KDE SVN repository have moved to their own
multi-document implementations
