Version: 3.0 Beta2 (using KDE KDE 3.1.4) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux When viewing documentation within the IDX, cut/copy/paste are not available. This makes it difficult when learning from the documentation, as you can not copy examples.
This is a duplicate of 58833.
This is not a dupe of that bug. The way I see it the user wants "copy" on the RMB menu. And here is a workaround posted to the mailing list by Eike: I have the same problem. There is a workaround: -Mark the text that you want to copy with the mouse. -Change to the editor where you want to paste the text. -Left click on Klipper; and click on the copied text. (It already has a check mark) -Paste the text in the editor. I its not a KDevelop problem I think because it also happens with Konqueror and KOffice. I'm using: eike@nuxie:~> kdevelop --version Qt: 3.1.1 KDE: 3.1.1 KDevelop: 3.0.0b2 PS: Eike in the future use the HTML form from bugzilla to reply to a bug.
I had marked this issue as a duplicate, due to the fact that issue 53701 is claimed to be a duplicate as well, which is in fact the same issue I had reported We can keep this one open though, as to not loose it, as I agree Bug 58833 does not clearly state the problem. (I had replied to the list in error the first time)
Fixed in new documentation viewer.
