Version: 1.5.94 (using KDE 3.1.94 (3.2 Beta 2), Gentoo) Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r1, propolice) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-gentoo-r7 I am using KDE's default single-click. I enabled the "automatically select icons" from the Mouse page of the control center. So now, if I leave my mouse cursor on an item, it gets highlighted after some time. Unfortunately, it works but breaks a kind of visual feedback. Now, for example, another folder in kmail gets highlighted although the messages I am reading are from the first folder. The problem is that I have very little hint that the right folder is selected. I used to rely on the highlighting but it does not provide the right feedback anymore. I suggest to simply disable the "select after a while" feature of the KListView for the kmail folders, to keep the binding 'highlighted folder' - 'current folder'. The feature was introduce mainly for file management and I don't think it makes sense in kmail's usage pattern.
AutoSelect is now disabled for the folder tree.
