Version: 1.3 Beta (using KDE 3.1.94 (3.2 Beta 2), Gentoo) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 20031022 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.2-r3, propolice) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-gentoo-r1 i can't be sure that the hung ssh sessions were the issue, but i can tell you that it's spontaneously crashed on more than one occasion (though this is the only backtrace i have). in both cases however, konsole crashed when i was on a different desktop working in a completely unrelated window (i *think* it was konqueror in both cases): (no debugging symbols found)...Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1". Can you verify if this crash happens when the desktop wallpaper changes?
this appears to be fixed in 3.2_rc1
