Description Melchior Franz 2003-12-06 11:43:48 UTC
Version: kdevelop 3.0.0.b2 (as of CVS/HEAD 2003-12-06; KDE 3.1.94 (3.2b2)) (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux) libc 2.3.2; Linux 2.6.0-test11
OS: Linux

start kdevelop, and while it's still loading components and showing the splash
screen, do already select e.g. the "Configure KDevelop" dialog. The dialog pops
up under the splash screen, and the splash screen won't go away until you close
the dialog. In this unfortunate state switch to another virtual desktops: the
frozen splash screen follows you.
You'd better lock the GUI until the splash screen is closed. :-)

The GUI is now reasonably "locked" (the menu is disabled) during startup, so I guess we can mark this as fixed.
