Description Timo Nentwig 2003-12-04 20:43:08 UTC
Version: 4.0 (using KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-144-athlon

I like the ability to open a link in a new tab by middle-clicking it. However, I personally would prefer it to be opened in a background tab.

I recommend this to be configurable.

Actuall, all of Konqueror's key/mouse mapping should be configurable. Have a look on Opera7.

Unselect "Automatically activate new tab" or alike option.

But this makes any new tab to be opened in background. Including <a target="_blank"> links which should show up in new (but not background) tabs.

IMO key/mouse mapping configuratibility is a good idea.. - and there could be presets for Mozilla/IE/Opera users.
