Version: 0.41 (using KDE 3.1.4) Installed from: SuSE Compiler: gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-4GB There are 2 problems with this context menu - 1st it is not context sensitive, it should at least differentiate between clicking on image and clicking on image selection. - 2nd the choice of options seems arbitrary. Some thoughts: - Both combined can be pretty bad. For instance, when I right clicked a selection I couldn't find the "create from selection option". I thought it didn't exist then, but later found out it was on the toolbar all the time (even when you cannot apply it because nothing is selected)! - Makes no sense to have "rotate" and not "mirror" on the sub menus. All of them make the menu huge so one option is to include one rotate and one mirror which is enough for everything, another is to organize everything in submenus. I prefer the later. - Most aplications with zoom have "zoom +"/"zoom -". It is quite annoying to have to specify the zoom in the menu. Ok now on to my sugestion: [Right click on image:] Zoom (submenu) -> Zoom - -> Zoom + -> Zoom 100% (I prefer this name to 1:1) -> --------- (just a separator) -> Scale to with -> Scale to height -> Set zoom Transform (submenu) -> Rotate ClockWise -> Rotate Counter ClockWise -> Ritate 180o ------------------------- -> Mirror Vertically -> Mirror Horizontally -> Mirror Both Directions OCR [Right Click on Selection:] Create Image From Selection OCR on Selection Observation: For problems with involving Kooka Gallery tree context menus refer to bug report (69451) : http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69451 J.A.
