Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.93) Installed from: Compiled From Sources OS: Linux When you detach a Konsole session and press the close button (the one on the window-decoration), you would expect the session to be closed. Instead, it re-appears on the parent that it was previously detached from.
And after clicking some other shell tab at the same window where the konsole was detached, konsole crashes. Reproducible: Start konsole. Create another shell tab (from lower left corner), detach it (RMB @ shell window -> Detach -> type exit at the detached konsole (it re-appears to the parent) -> click the other shell tab -> CRASH
NOTE! Clicking the close button (to attach detached konsole back) is not enough to reproduce the crash, you _must_ type exit at the detached console.
The crash is fixed, and the behavior is as my mad mind invented it. :-)
It no longer crashes, but the behavior is odd: 1. typeing exit on a detached session -> deletes sessions 2. pressing the X on the detaches session -> reattaches the session Strange. If this is the desired result; close this bug.
Note that this is similar to Bug 59372
In KDE3.4, re-attaching a de-attached session is no longer possible per waba.
