A user manual would be nice!

Cant make 3.2 deadline anymore, sorry, will have to wait for 3.3 or if the translators allow for 3.2.x.

I see nothing has been done on this ticket for awhile and that  trunk/KDE/kdesdk/doc/kompare/index.docbook in SVN r529600 just contains the std documentation stub notice.

I am going to reassign this ticket to myself as I have the itch to do the documentation. If anyone is presently working on this, just let me know and reassign the ticket.

I am using Kompare 3.4 using KDE 3.5.2 on Kubuntu Dapper. Is this ok. I mean are any changes planned for KDE 4 that I should take into account before starting?

Commit Sean doc (thanks a lot Sean, very nice work) - improved it a bit (used &kompare; instead of &kappname;, added screenshots of config dialogsand added install section)
Will need to be committed in KDE 3.5 branch if there is a freeze lift for 3.5.7 if it exists.

Can you just capitalize the start of these two sentences in

this application can be found in the kdesdk package on 
ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/, the main FTP site of the KDE project.

Yes I finished this and some other kindly did some tweaks months ago but it just sits here. Wish it would be closed, but I can't do it.
