Version:           2.1.5 (using KDE KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
OS:          Linux

I get LATIN1 characters. However, if I do this in QTDesigner (I set text property of lineedit control), characters čžš are displayed correctly.
How comes?

This is not the place to report qt-designer bugs. Try www.trolltech.com for that.

Nor is it a place for user support. Try the various support webforums and irc channels. #qt could perhaps help you.
