Version:           3.0 (using KDE 3.1.93 (CVS >= 20031111), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2.3 (Debian)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.6.0-test9

Well, run "kcmshell icons", select advanced tab, select set effect and then try to play with those settings.. :)

The problem is that kcmicons is "always-on-top" window and the effect window will appear behind of it..

Yeah. Happens here too. (<24h old kdelibs + kdebase)
