Version: 0.41 (using KDE KDE 3.1.4) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux I find that I often use certain modes. For instance "600DPI, colored, user defined gama table at 1.25 gamma value" for hand drawn original pictures, "300DPI, color, gamma 1.25" for prints, "1200DPI, binary, no gamma" for line art, and so on. It would be nice if all these settings could be combined into a mode that you can select in one go. You could have certain basic predefined modes like 'Hires Color' 'Lores Color', 'Grayscale', 'Line Art', 'Photos', with useful basic defaults that the user can finetune as needed, and also the ability to define new modes by copying one from any of the existing and renaming it.
Yes, I already have some code bits for this :-) but did not find time enough to make it stable. A typical 'after kde 3.2' issue.
Implemented in SVN version, commit 781253. If you are still interested in this feature, please check out and try it (from branches/work/kooka-kde3). Nothing is predefined yet, but maybe could do that in the future.
