Description Cornelius Schumacher 2003-11-16 02:03:59 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

When Kontact is running and the plugin of an app is already loaded, trying to start the app as stand-alone app leads to an error (e.g.: ERROR: Communication problem with kaddressbook, it probably crashed). That's wrong. Trying to start the stand-alone app should bring Kontact with the appropriate plugin selected to the front.

Other bad effects of this bug: When trying to start the stand-alone app from the K menu, a startup notification appears and eventually times out. The same happens when clicking on the KOrganizer system tray icon.
