Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.4) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: gcc 2.96 CFLAGS=-march=i586 CXXFLAGS=-march=586 OS: Linux When I use knode to read long news articles, when I get near the end of the article, clicking in the scroll bar to page up or down causes knode to scroll by two pages. This happens with nearly every article that appears in comp.risks, a moderated digest. I've never seen this happen with a "short" article. Today's behavior: I used knode to view the article with subject "Risks Digest 23.01", posted 2003-11-07. At the beginning, clicking in the scroll bar scrolled down one page at a time. When I got about 2/3 of the way through, to the sub-message with subject "Another victim", clicking in the scroll bar below the "elevator" causes knode to scroll down one page, then pause briefly, then scroll down another page. Clicking above the elevator causes knode to scroll up, pause, and scroll up, until it gets closer to the start of the message. Pressing the space, "Page Down", or "Page Up" keys always moves by a single page, regardless of my position within the article.
I can't reproduce this bug on Red Hat 9 (KNode 0.7.2, KDE 3.1.3-0.9x, qt 3.1.2-0.9x.2) or on Mandrake 9.2 (qt 3.2.3) with KNode 0.7.6 and the KDE 3.2.0 rpms from ftp://mandrake.redbox.cz/people/bluehawk/kde32-92. I'm closing the bug.
