Version: 3.0.0a7 (using KDE 3.1.4) Installed from: (testing/unstable) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 20030908 (Debian prerelease) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22 When creating members to any class i wanted to copy/paste object name, and then add member name. For example: i copy-ed this: LocalClient: pasted it, and added another : after that, kdevelop crashes. Always.
Please supply backtrace when submitting crash reports. They really help us track the bugs down! In this case I guess the codecompletion kicks in, as you (if I understand it correctly) have written "LocalClient::" which would make the code completion attempt to find the members of this Class/Namespace

But if i copy/paste LocalClient and add ::, or if i type the class name and add :: it works fine.
Hmm... odd to package an alpha release without debug info.. Anyways, it works here, including the described "paste-way". Please update to the just released KDevelop-3.0-beta1 and report back if the issue is solved.
