Description Bart Coppens 2003-11-06 16:08:56 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.93)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
OS: Linux

I used to click on the window that pops up on alt+tab to get rid of it. This has always worked, until this version of KDE. I realise that deleting the window when clicked on is not longer feasable, with the new ability to select a window directly, but could it be possible to delete the window when I click *outside* the window?

I am terribly sorry, but this should have been a Feature Request/Wishlist item, not crash as I apparantly left selecten :(

Why don't you simply release the Alt key?

The AltTab-window disappears when I release the key.

Yes, but there's a difference. If in KDE3.1 I clicked (outside) the alt+tab window, the window disappeared and there didn't change anything. Now, in Rudi, if I have the Alt+Tab window open and I just release the key, the window selected in the alt+tab window pops up (as is to be expected).

You should press the ESC key while still holding the ALT key.
This hides the tabbox window.

Your wish is now implemented in KDE 3.3 CVS
