Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.3) Installed from: Mandrake RPMs It is too difficult to find the place where you can change the font used by konqueror as a file manager. you have to go to components->file manager. It is not that it doesn't make sense. The problem is that the first thing you do is go to lookNfeel->fonts. When you don't find it there, you DO NOT THINK that the option can be found elsewhere. You look for it inside konqueror, but once again you only find the option for konqueror AS A WEB BROWSER. I think it is too hidden.
In Konqueror, menu Tools, select Configure Konqueror and go to Appearance that is under a filemanager icon. How is this hidden? KMail also does similar things, but those settings are not even in KControl.
Sorry, but Tools->ConfigureKonqueror has no option called Appearance! I only see behavior, previews, file associations, behavior (another time!), java&javascript, fonts(only for web), web shortcuts, history sidebar, cookies, cache, proxy, stylesheets, crypto, browser identification, plugins. Maybe Mandrake is crippling kde in some way. I don't know.
